Thank you for signing my guestbook. I had to take this section down because it was receiving spam messages, but check back in the future for more updates.
Hey! I'm in high school and had to choose an autobiography to do a book report on. I chose your book and it amazed me! I love your story, it's like a movie or something. I remember when I was in the third grade and absolutely idolized your Olympic team. I even remember my mom letting me stay up late to watch yall win (yes, I knew yall would!). I taped it and watched your vault over and over. I'm no gymnast, but I am an athlete playing varsity volleyball, basketball, and softball for my school. I think your story could apply to anyone's goals no matter what they are, and it has definitely inspired me. I had to dress up and do an oral book report for the project, and I got crutches and my ankle all wrapped up. It was pretty funny. The best part was that my two best friends who are in the same class were Dominique Moceanu and Shannon Miller. We made up a little routine, it was great. Thank you so much for your awesome attitude throughout your life and your inspiration! I'm SO glad I read your book. God Bless!
Hi, I'm Abby Swartz from Paradise Valley, Arizona and I'm a gymnast too! I'm doing a personal biography for my third grade class and I selected to represent you! You are very inspiring and I will try my best to be great as you. Thanks Kerri, Love Abby
Hey Kerri!! I admire you so much that I chose to do a biography speech on you. You amaze me so much with your talent. I'm currently in level 9 in gymnastics and am striving towards a college scholarship goal. I read your book "A Diary Of Dreams" and loved it!! I totally want to just read it for my speech, but that would take too long and would be plagiarizing. You have so much courage and strength. I just wanted you to know that. You will ALWAYS be my hero, because I don't like all of the cocky girls who get all of the attention, which is why I admire you. You are soooo inspirational!! <3 God Bless You! <3
Kerri, My name is Angie and I am a level 7 gymnast. You don't know how much you inspire me! I just wanted to thank you for your courage. Your deeds encourage me to be the very best I can. You are truly a role model and hero. You keep me going and help me stay strong and I don't know what I'd do without the support you give me. You mean so much to me and your help has shaped my life dramatically, for the better. I truly love gymnastics, but it is challenging and it is so much easier when I think of you and how you reached your dreams. You make the biggest difference in my life and I will always remember that. I will never forget. Often times while in the gym when I am struggling, I think, "If Kerri could do that vault with her hurt ankle, I can do this." It has never failed me. I am a more successful gymnast thanks to you. My gratitude to you is endless and words to express my thanks are infinite. I wanted to let you know how big of impact you have on me. I am overwhelmed with joy as I as I now start to cry thinking that you now know how much you mean to me. American gymnasts and other athletes are stronger now because we have the memory of you and your strong will toward what you love to do. Thank You! Your forever in my heart. God Bless.
Hi, I am not of a really really big fan of gymnastics but as i began to watch it it really looked tough to see how gymnast go through the different types of abilities that where meant to be needed. I watched the 96 olympics on T.V. i think i was probably in the fourth or fifth grade and i was thinking that is true toughness to be a part of a sport like that and i said that you where going to win because you looked extremely fit and very technical do you still work out.
Hey thanks! My sister is a gymnast too! She hurt her ankle but I think she'll feel better after she's gone to this sight!!!! :)
HI Keri! Enjoyed your website. It is with pride as a Jew, that you have represented as so proudly as a gold medal winner. I would appreciate hearing from you. Good luck to you in all your future endeavors.
Kerri, Its kinda weird, but a I'll make it short, I watched you on your Olympic adventure when I was about 15 I had a instant crush on you, lol, I use to write you love letters and hope you would get them and write back, it's funny now, now that I am all grown up, got my head on my shoulders now. My name is Dave and I'm a soldier in the army, I'm 23, my email is XXX and my screen name is the same. I was just curious now 10 years later if I would get a reply now that life has probably calmed down a bit. I figured I would give it a try, never hurts, hope to here from you. Dave
kerri, it was amazing how you won the gold with a broken ankle !!!!!!
Hi Kerri...I am a mother of a 4 year daughter who has been attending gymnastics classes since August of 2004 and has just made team (developmental). She was so excited to be elected to perform at this level, which isn't much in our eyes but a world of possibilities in hers, and by next year her coaches want her to move up to pre-teen to begin competing. Which I am a little unsure about, but they are sure that she will be ready. I was talking to a representative for Rita Brown at her new facility that has just been built and your name came up (by the way my husband is a big fan). Being new to this sport, I am very curious about "is my daughter in the right place?", "is she too young?", "does she have the right coaches working with her?", etc. After reading your website I feel more at ease. I was a little skeptical about my daughter doing gymnastics, but after watching her this past year, she is REALLY good. I just wanted to thank you for having this website. It has really put things in perspective. It has helped me in figuring out what is best for my daughter and how to best fulfill her needs. Thank You, MLP
good luck of your gymnastics and what you do..
Been a fan of yours for years Kerri, even before '96. I'm glad that you are doing well. I've read both your books, and I hope you get the chance to read MINE when I get published! People like you certainly help inspire and motivate, you do a great job too! Hope you have a happy 4th of July Holiday! Oh and you should have your webmaster take care of those spammers. Jonathan
Thank you for all you have done for America. You were selfless and an inspiration for many. God bless.

hi, this is liliane the girl with the flower leo the you signed at style. i just wanted to say that i hope that you come back to our gym.
Hi. I was on the Orange Line Metro today and I KNEW that was you, but chose not to say anything. I regret it! I would've loved to have met you.
Hi Kerri! I'm an elite figure skater from Fairfax, VA, but I've always admired the strength and dedication you put into gymnastics. I may not be a gymnast...but you are a good role model. I try to be like you and never give up. I hope someday I'll be a successful athlete like you, but if not, that's okay. I've learned a lot from figure skating. Never give up, work hard and most of all...HAVE FUN! I started training at age three and have won 2 National gold medals, a bronze medal in Pairs competition, and am hoping to medal at at the North American challenge this fall. Junior Worlds was great! If there are any other figure skaters out there, I hope to meet you someday!
Kerri, Thank you so much for coming to Style gymnastics last weekend. Your valuable coaching input and words of wisdom made an impact on our girls and on the parents. Thank you for being so approachable and personable with all of us and for being such a good sport when asked to autograph everything under the sun...including my daughter' Rachel's flipflops. Sincerely, Christne Carter Christine
Congratulations Kerri on making TV Guides list of the top 25 Awesome Sports moments! Your vault was really an awesome, inspiring moment for everyone who knows your story! I've read your book probably 20 times and it always inspires me to keep trying toward whatever my current goal is. Good luck on all your current goals! Keep up the good work and the great smile!
Nice site and great look. I hope you will like my web site too.
Kerri, Your such an inspiration to me! I'm a gymnast and I recently went to Bela Karolyi's gymnastics camp in Huntsville TX.. it was awesome! There's pictures of you on the wall! I'm going to coach there next summer! I love gymnastics and I look up to you... I want to work for my goals as hard as you did.. love~Leslie
when i was 10 (which was 1996!), my friends and i would listen to paula abdul music and do our karate moves so that we could "rescue" our gymnast girlfriends. weird, right? well, my friend matt always rescued dominique moceanu, my buddy brandon always saved amy chow, and i, of course, always fought ninjas to save you! we had quite the imagination, but we also had quite the crushes on you 3! ohhhh, man! i am always reliving your vaults from that year, and maybe it's weird, but you still give a 19-year old motivation to take leaps of faith for my dreams. thanks, kerri, very much. -adam

You are my idol on the Vault. You rock Kerri!
I read your website. I sure could use a motivational speech. How good are you? I received a photo from you once...from Balboa Island or somewhere. Thanks, Gary
Howdy! Kerri, Looking back, I can definitely say that you and the Mag. 7 were idols and inspiration in my life. I too used to train with Bela and Bill in Houston but didn't make it past the Silver team when I quit. I was at the games in Barcelona witnessing the most courageous woman vaulting AGAIN!! Good Luck in the future. Alexis Perlman
